VARIOUS OPPORTUNITIES WITHIN PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT  

Salaries from c£25k depending on experience and qualifications + benefits

Join the PD team and play an integral part in the product development process focusing on retail and/or direct to consumer products for the JML Group, across multiple product categories. On a daily basis you will liaise with various stakeholders from suppliers, test houses and IP attorneys to JML’s various internal departments and international divisions. You will be responsible for taking ownership of assigned products from an early stage right up to being trialled. This will include aspects of product sourcing; generating cost sheets; functionally testing products; undertaking market research and competitor analysis; product certification and writing product briefs. 

Product is king at JML and we invest heavily in the product cycle. This is a role that is exciting and diverse which entails a combination of buying, product development, marketing and compliance. You will need to be a strong team player and have the ability to multi-task and have a “can-do” attitude. This is a challenging role which would suit someone with previous experience in a similar field or with a relevant qualification. Candidates should also possess a flair for hands on development and first class communication skills including report writing. Attention to detail and persistence are also crucial as everything depends on getting it right the first time. Technical experience and understanding of buying and product compliance (such as CE and RoHS) would be a strong advantage.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER 

Up to 45k depending on experience + Bonus  + Car + Benefits

Reporting to the Chief Sales Officer we are seeking a high calibre and heavyweight individual with a proven track record of managing and growing category relationships.    This is brand new role to target category managers in promoting JML’s best-selling product – The JML Fast Fit Ironing Board Cover – with over 25 million sold since we launched the product.

With a background in Grocery and High Street retailers or similar you will be a talented, tenacious and ambitious winner. You will understand FMCG and have knowledge of product development and marketing trends.  This role requires a confident and persuasive individual who is highly organised, professional and can build relationships. You must be able to demonstrate a track record of achievement and success with evidence of strategic thinking, strong communication skills and the potential to be a leader in our business.

The role is office based in Chiswick when not visiting customers or researching the category.  We are offering a basic salary of £45k with a company car plus a performance related bonus of up to £25k

We are seeking a Field Sales Representatives with merchandising experience to cover our retail stores with the aim of ensuring our products are merchandised to a high standard to ensure maximum sales exposure to maximise the impact of TV advertising.

Ideally the successful applicants will need to be within reasonable travelling distance of the location specified. Previous retail and sales experience in a similar role is desirable although not always essential.

This is a key role whereby you will work within a team visiting our high street retail stores ensuring that our promotions are merchandised to a high standard. Based from home you will be physically fit and enjoy driving extensively. You will be customer focused, reliable, self-motivated and enthusiastic with good communication skills.
